Teigen is famous for being a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl - and for being married to singer John Legend.

Chrissy is from Delta, Utah. However, the family moved a lot when she was young, and Teigen spent many of her teen years in Huntington Beach, California. While working in a surf shop, a photographer gave her his card (isn't that how it always happens?).

Chrissy Teigen quickly skyrocketed to fame. Teigen was named the Sports Illustrated "Rookie of the Year" in 2010 and has modeled for Vogue, Esquire, and other top fashion magazines.

More than just a model, Chrissy has had gigs appearing as a host with E!, Extra, MTV, America's Next Top Model, and Watch What Happens Live.

Chrissy is a free-spirited girl who is known as a bit of a jokester.

This can get her into some... issues, which will take a little explaining.

But we have plenty of time! So let's get into Chrissy's various issues below. It's important to note that we are not interpreting anything about Chrissy and claiming that she has hidden issues or anything like that - these are issues Chrissy Teigen freely discusses and, in fact, goes well out of her way to publicize. Much of Chrissy's notoriety in certain circles stems from her own attempts to publicize her own views. So, with that understood, read on.

Teigen has built a huge fan following on social media on Twitter, where she has (the last time I checked) the astounding total of 355,000 followers and has tweeted a truly amazing 45,000 times (these figures are sure to be much higher by the time you read this). There's nothing wrong with tweeting 45,000 times, of course, it just shows where her passion lies. Tweeting is kind of Chrissy's hobby.

Anyone who uses Twitter can vouch that that massive number of Tweets ain't easy to accomplish. It takes real focus and dedication. If you think that President Trump tweets a lot, for instance, that is nothing next to the number of tweets that Chrissy Teigen sends.

Chrissy starred in John Legend's music videos for his songs "Stereo" and "All of Me." After four years of dating, Legend proposed to her in December 2011 and married her in September 2013.

Chrissy is taking active steps to protect her marriage to Legend:
No hot nannies, drivers or maids. It's an ongoing joke in my house. I do want to have kids one day, so it's something that I have to think about. But the rule is no hot nannies. I trust John, but you never know with these men.
Chrissy, though, has a problem in that area of her own device:
It's too late for me, though, because I have a hot assistant — she is cute. These days, it doesn't really matter what you look like — sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do.
She then joked, "I have to keep an eye on my assistant now, damn!"

Chrissy and John had a daughter, Luna, in April 2016, and a son, Miles, born in May 2018. You can keep up with Chrissy on Instagram, where at last count Chrissy Teigen had about 11 million followers.

Getting back to Twitter, it has given ordinary people a chance to broadcast their personal opinions to the world. Chrissy Teigen has done that a lot. She gets a lot of attention these days for the political views that she expresses on Twitter. Teigen has been tweeting about Donald Trump since long before he ever announced any interest in higher office. In fact, she commented about this herself as far back as 2012 on Twitter.

Around the same time, she had some pungent commentary directly to Donald Trump in October 2012.

This attention to the future President has continued into his term of office, and it has taken its toll on Chrissy. She blames Donald Trump for her physical condition.

As she herself said a minute after posting the above tweet, "that is not a joke."

Then again, maybe it was all just a joke. Or not. Who knows?

Well, that seems to be a joke... maybe. We are just glad that Chrissy did find some relief from her dental procedure, regardless of politics.

Chrissy has ramped up her Twitter campaign at times - for instance, on Father's Day in June 2018, she made a point of tweeting to President Trump that her family was donating a substantial sum of money to a certain charity in his name.

This whole issue of Twitter and celebrities has been debated for many years. Famous people get in trouble all the time for their Twitter posts. There is no doubt how freewheeling Chrissy Teigen's Twitter account can be - maybe sometimes a little too freewheeling. From time to time, Chrissy has made her Twitter account private because she needs to take a break. This is the Internet, and we all know how Internet-dwellers can get about someone with strong political opinions (I say that because, well, you're reading this on the Internet, so you know how the Internet can get). Trolls will be trolls, so if Chrissy's account isn't available when you go looking for it, she may be "taking a breather." Don't worry, though, she's still posting to her loyal fans.

On February 23, 2016, Teigen's cookbook "Cravings" became a New York Times bestseller.

Chrissy threw out the first pitch at the Dodger's game on 5 August 2014, and apparently had a blast doing it. She also had a blast before doing it (check out her tweet below where she writes, "Crap, I'm pretty drunk"). The good news is that she found the plate with her toss, the better news is that she rolled around on the infield shortly afterward with her girlfriend. Why? Well, read her tweet again.
