Gisele Caroline Bündchen (born July 20, 1980) is a Brazilian fashion model, actress, and producer. She is famous not only as the top model in the world, but also as the wife of famous quarterback Tom Brady.
Bündchen is a sixth-generation German Brazilian, born in Três de Maio, Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil. Both of her parents were Brazilians of German descent.
Gisele retains her ties to southern Brazil and owns a hotel there, among her many other business interests.
Gisele won the prestigious VH1/Vogue Model of the Year award in 1999. She then co-hosted the ceremony in 2000, along with actor Cuba Gooding, Jr.. Everybody was charmed, and Vogue even named her the "model of the millennium." It also said that she marked the "return of the sexy model." She became the fourth model ever in 2000 to grace the cover of Rolling Stone, which named her "the most beautiful girl in the world."
Gisele became a fixture on the Victoria’s Secret runway for many years, but she finally left the brand in 2009. She was one of the most popular Angels to date and one of the top supermodels of the 2000s.

In May of 2006, Bündchen signed another multi-million dollar deal, this time with American giant Apple Computer. She starred in an advertising campaign to promote the new Macintosh line through the 'Get a Mac' advertisements.
She has her own line of sandals with shoes company Grendene, called Ipanema Gisele Bündchen, which have sold more than 100 million pairs since 2001. She is also the owner of a hotel in the south of Brazil, the Palladium Executive.
