Letícia Birkheuer (born April 25, 1978) is a top Brazilian model who is a sensation in her native country. She has made the transition to acting and remains a fixture in the Brazilian gossip tabloids and has a sister, Michelle, who is also a top model.
Leticia was born in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, where her father works in a bank, and is of German/Austrian descent. She was discovered while playing volleyball in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil (isn't that always the way it happens?).
She was a hit from the start in 2002, and appeared in the 2003 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and the related TV Movie documentary. Among many others, she represented:
- Giorgio Armani (chosen personally by him)
- Christian Dior
- Coco Chanel
- Helena Rubinstein.
In 2006 Leticia became the 7th best-paid Brazilian model, living for many years in fashion capital New York City.
Birkheuer has moved back to Brazil to pursue her dream of being an actress, where she has appeared as Erica Assumption in the soap opera 'Belíssima' ("Beautiful') (2005-2006), on stage, and in a string of other shows:
- Pé na Jaca (2007);
- Desejo Proibido ('Forbidden Desire') (2007-2008);
- Cama de Gato ('Cat's Cradle') (2009-2010);
- Domingão do Faustão ('Dance of the Famous') (2010-2013) as a judge;
- Império (2014).

In December 2010, Letícia Birkheuer was on the cover of Brazilian Playboy and clearly is a national treasure. She married Alexandre Furmanovich in 2011 and together they had a child, a boy named João Guilherme (John William) Furmanovich, but they since apparently have broken up. She has an active account on Twitter where she regularly posts updates and photos.
