Eva is from Litvinov, Czech Republic. She won a 1989 modelling contest in Prague taht she entered on a whim at the age of 16 - someone spotted her whilst she was on vacation and suggested that she enter - this got her signed by the sponsoring firm, Madison. This led her to Paris, where she gradually picked up admirers. She truly gained attention, and some corresponding notoriety, when she posed for the first Wonderbra campaign in 1994. This was extremely controversial, as it featured Eva in provocative poses that suggested a little too much sex appeal for some viewers. Her 'Hello Boys' ad, with some regional variants such as 'G'Day Boys,' has entered the annals of advertising as one of the most influential posters of the 20th Century. She also fronted a very high-profile campaign for Guess? Jeans (1992-94).
Eva has a slew of covers down through the years, and she still gets them - which is a testament to her longevity. Some of her more recent covers include:
- March Harper's Bazaar Spain, Madame Figaro Thailand
- July Gioia
- June Grazia Italy
- April Elle Czech
- November Harper's Bazaar Czech
- September The Sunday Times Style, Twin Magazine, Harper's Bazaar Ukraine
