Jill Goodacre Connick (born March 29, 1965) is an American actress and former model who helped to build the Victoria's Secret's brand.
Jill was one of Victoria's Secret's main models in the 1980s and early 1990s before she met and married Harry Connick, Jr.

Jill is from Lubbock, Texas by way of Boulder, Colorado. She was one of the main catalogue models back in the days when she, Jane Seymour and Geena Davis ruled the Victoria's Secret roost. The company was fairly new then, and it did not have the glitzy annual fashion show yet, or Jill would have been in it. She did play a pivotal role in popularizing the mail-order catalogs.

After establishing her modeling career, Jill Goodacre turned to acting. She made the usual appearances on the chat shows of the day, such as the David Letterman show and Conan. Jill also appeared in a few television series such as "The Uninvited" and "Camp Wilder."
Her appearance on 'Friends' ("The One With the Blackout") was memorable because it was right around the time that Jill got married and retired from modelling. Jill appeared in the seventh episode of the first season, so she deserves a bit of the credit for the success of "Friends."

Jill had worked with Harry Connick, directing one of his videos, and apparently, they hit it off. He says he met her after she walked by a pool at the Los Angeles Sunset Marquee Hotel. He liked her strong handshake and love of beer.
Jill Goodacre has said:
I'm a meat girl and I just love having a beer.

Jill married Harry Connick, Jr. on April 16, 1994 and immediately retired from modelling (though she still did some acting for a time). They have three daughters and live in New Canaan, Connecticut.
Jill Goodacre and Harry Connick remain happily married, and it's always nice when one of these bios has a happy ending like that. They have three children, Georgia, Sara Kate, and Charlotte.
Jill revealed in October 2017 that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2012. She had a lumpectomy (actually two surgeries on consecutive days) followed by radiation (but not chemo). Jill appears to be doing well. Her medication, she claims, did lead to some weight gain. Jill is not shy about urging others to become aware of and in control of their health, get mammograms, and do what the doctor says.
