Kara Young is a former American fashion model, actress, and entrepreneur who was born in San Francisco, California. She was the child of an African American mother and a white father.
Kara appeared on a lot of magazine covers, especially Vogue, Elle, Glamour and the other major fashion magazines. She did some work for Playboy (Germany). She was a Victoria's Secret model for a while. Young was active in the late '80s and early '90s, then kind of faded from the modelling scene.
However, while she may have stopped modelling, she certainly didn't stop getting publicity. She is a co-founder of a hair care product line and NYC salon. She also was an entertainment news correspondent for Fox News Channel. Now, after all that, she doesn't need any more jobs, and that brings us to our next topic.
Kara really struck gold with her relationships. She married Sante D'Orazio in 1994, but they divorced in 1998. That was only the beginning.

Then, she dated both A. J. Benza and Donald Trump. The three of them argued about whether or not Kara left A. J. for Donald, or Donald for A.J., or what the heck happened. They did this, in fact, on the Howard Stern Show on May 10, 2001. A.J., then a columnist for the Daily News (and the host of the legendary "E! Mysteries & Scandals"), was being interviewed on the radio when The Donald called in. Trump graciously just wanted to say that Kara had dumped him, thereby opening the field for A.J. A.J. had a different view of how things happened. Then Kara herself, who must have been listening in, called to smooth things over. However, not long after, she ultimately dropped both of them. So there!

Many people view now-President Trump's fling with Kara as a sign either that he a) is racist because he left her, or b) is not racist because he dated her in the first place. Take your pick. Kara tries to stay above the fray on that one, simply saying that she would never date someone who is a racist.
For Kara, though, the Trump/Benza saga was just the warm-up for the main act. In 2005, Kara found her billionaire, but it wasn't Trump. Kara married billionaire Peter Georgiopoulos, the founder of the General Maritime Corporation and a big Wall Street dealmaker.
Now in the lap of luxury, Young lives in New York City with Georgiopoulos and her two sons, Nick and Dino, in a double-wide townhouse in the West Village. She is an executive member of the Board of Directors for Action Against Hunger. She still has her salon, called Hair Rules, on Ninth Avenue in Manhattan.
Kara remains a celebrity and is always a joy to see. She is funny and lively, with an awesome sense of humor and terrific perspective about the world and her place in it. Kara'sr name still gets thrown around a lot because of her past association with Trump, who is always a magnet of publicity. However, Kara is happily married and long over all of that. And how many women have their pick of billionaires?
