Anouck Lepere (born February 15 1979) is a top Belgian model who now has her own line of jewelry. Victoria's Secret fans know her from the 2001 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Anouck was most active as a model from 2000 - 2012, but remains a force in the industry whether on or off the runway. Let's get to know Anouck Lepère a little better.
Anouck was born in the port of Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium. She grew up there and was a student there when some friends suggested that she consider modelling. It did not hurt that her friends, Dries van Noten and Olivier Theyskens, were top fashion designers.
Anouck then made her debut in Paris in the Spring/Summer show for her friend van Noten.
At that point, Anouck was set. She appeared in all the Paris shows for years afterwards.
Lepere began nabbing her share of covers, too, mostly in Europe, but with a few in the Americas and Japan:

Anouck lives in New York, New York now, where she has lived since 2000, but has residences elsewhere, too.
“I must admit, I did think that eating as much as you want and then throwing it up seemed like a good solution. I quickly discovered how hard it is on your body. You can't do that long-term.”
Anouck was the face of Bally, beginning in 2007, along with French model Vincent Lacrocq.
Anouck was the face of Jimmy Choo beginning in 2008.
Lepere became the face of Cesare Paciotti, photographed by Mario Sorrenti, in 2009.
Anouck was dating Jefferson Hack for several years, beginning in 2005, but they broke up in 2011. Some say they were married.
"I started walking in shows for Dries Van Noten and Olivier Theyskens when I was studying at the Academy of Antwerp. One day in Paris when I was 21 years old, the modeling agency IMG New York invited me to come to New York. That's when my career really kicked off."
Anouck once mistook Ben Stiller for a hairdresser.
Anouck started her jewelry line because she couldn't find fashionable earrings for her own unpierced ears. So, she designed stylish clip-on earrings. Anouck finally gave in and got her ears pierced in 2006.
Anouck has a Twitter account, but she hasn't used it in some time. There is another Twitter account that purports to be her official account, but it is not verified.
Anouk was a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp studying architecture when she became a model.
Anouck's apartment in Antwerp is furnished in Danish midcentury design with antiques from around the world.
