Ingrid Seynhaeve (28 June 1973) is well known to Victoria's Secret fans for having walked in the 1999 and 2000 Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows. There's a lot more to this classic beauty than just those fashion shows, though, so let's learn a little bit more about Ingrid.
Ingrid was born in Menen, Belgium. Menen in is West Flanders, you know, where the poppies blow. She was "discovered" whilst sitting at her hairdressers. If it were that easy for everyone, I'd be camping out there.
She got her start in modeling when she won the 1991 Elite Look of the Year contest. Not a bad way to get your foot in the door.
Ingrid got noticed quickly. By 1993, she was in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She repeated the feat in the 1995 and 1996 issues.
Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior, Guess, Anne Klein - Ingrid modeled for all the top names in the '90s.
Seynhaeve has her share of covers, just like any top international model:
Argentina: 'Elle' - May 1997
Australia: 'Inside Sport' - July 1996
France: 'Vital' - August 1995; 'Cosmopolitan' - July 2001; 'Max' - 2002
Germany: 'Freundin Donna' - December 2011; 'Freundin Donna' - October 2012
Italy: 'Amica' - April 1995
US: 'Shape' - January 1998; 'Z!nk' - 2003; 'Philadelphia Style' - December 2003
By 1997, Ingrid even had caught the eye of one Donald J. Trump. Did they date: survey says... yes! But only they know for sure. Ingrid herself has always denied it, and as for Donald, well, I don't see why he would want to deny anything regardless of the truth of the matter. Knowing just a teensy weensy little bit about how these things play out, it's easy to just assume the obvious.

They certainly were seen around town together a lot. They have a bit more of a connection than that: The Donald actually was one of the judges in the 1991 Elite Look of the Year Contest that Ingrid won. Yes, Trump was there right from the start in her career.
In any event, Mr. Trump (as he likes to be called) signed Ingrid to his modeling agency, Trump Models. She appeared in ads for summer concerts at Trump Marina in Atlantic City. She was working for him when she got the Victoria's Secret gig, so Trump's magic touch worked on Ingrid, too. He had her on billboards and the sides of busses before you (or he) could say "You're fired!"
Ingrid appeared in some documentaries about the modeling world back in the '90s. These included "The Making of a Supermodel" in 1999. She also did some acting in "Don't Worry, Be Happy" in 2003. She also was the top judge on "Belgium's Next Top Model." Her career slowed down a bit after she became a mom in 2004.
No dummy, Ingrid speaks five languages and has two sons. She jets back and forth between homes in Paris and New York. She is married to Jean-Baptiste Iera.
