Katy Perry at the 2010 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Katy Perry was at the top of her game in 2010. She had the top album, the top singles, and she ruled the musical world.
Katy also ruled the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that year.
On November 10, 2010, Katy Perry performed in the fashion show (other performers included Akon). She played a four-song setlist.
Katy Perry has really brightened things up at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. During her lively finale performance in 2010, she showed why she is every boy’s “Teenage Dream.”
Katy hit the runway in a bold yellow mini and leather lace-up boots as she belted out a trio of her favorite tracks, including “Hot N Cold” and “California Girls.”
2010 Set List:
Firework
Teenage Dream
Hot N Cold
California Gurls
These were all smash hits for Katy Perry that year and enduring classics.
Katy also sang, she did not lip-synch.
Katy has not been back to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show since, but you never know when she might show up again.
Liu Wen. If you haven't heard of Liu, you're probably not Chinese. She is widely considered to be China's first true supermodel and is well known by the country's billion-plus people. Liu also happens to be one of the highest-paid models in the world, and that's probably not a coincidence.
People on social media love Liu, and she has branched out into all sorts of different segments of the Asian media market.
Let's learn a little bit more about the fascinating Liu Wen.
Liu is from a humble background. Born on 27 January 1988 in Yongzhou, Hunan, Liu Wen entered a modeling contest at her mother's suggestion.
Not surprisingly given her classic looks, Liu Wen was discovered at the contest - it was the summer 2005 New Silk Road World Model Contest - even though she did not win it.
Many, many top models owe their careers to entering a contest and losing it.
Liu started getting assignments soon afterward with the likes of the Chinese editions of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
Liu's model card.
Liu's breakout moment was when she was noticed for an editorial she shot with Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor and Rolf.
That led to an invitation to Paris in 2008 for Paris Fashion Week.
After that, Liu was on a role. She debuted in Milan in February 2008 and in New York in 2009.
Liu walked in the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She was the first Chinese to appear in it. She followed that up with another appearance in the 2010 show. And the 2011 show. And the 2012 show. And the 2016 show.

With Victoria's Secret expanding into China and holding its 2017 Fashion Show in Shanghai, it would have been a shocker if Liu Wen wasn't asked to walk in the 2017 show, too.

Below is a sample of Liu's covers from her first few years, which makes Liu Wen's base of popularity a bit plainer. With Liu Wen, her popularity base obviously is China, where she has a phenomenal nine (9) Vogue covers:

Liu's honors include being on the first Numero China cover. It was the first time ever that a Numero premiere issue did not feature Kate Moss.
Liu Wen is approaching the top of the model heap in terms of the amount of money that she pulls in every year. She regularly makes the Forbes list of the world's highest-paid models, and top models make a lot of money. In 2016 alone, Liu Wen made an estimated $7 million. That isn't exactly Gisele Bündchen territory (who has been known to make upwards of $40 million) - but that ain't beanbag, either. Liu Wen made similar amounts in 2015, 2014, 2013...
Believe me... any time you are on any Forbes list, life is good. Believe me.
Liu wore an Apple Watch on a Vogue China cover. It was considered a breakthrough moment for the crossover between fashion and Technology.
Liu has branched out into other areas. She says that she would like to be an actress.
Liu appears on the Chinese reality television show, "We’re in Love." Wen is paired with Korean celebrity Siwon for the show, which requires the duo to complete tasks while pretending to be a couple in love.
Liu also says that she would like to become a stylist or fashion designer someday.
Liu considers her own personal style to be "tomboyish, vintage and comfortable."
Liu is great friends with Joan Smalls, Constance Jablonski and Lindsey Wixson, all of whom she has worked with before.
She also is tight with Shu Pei Qin, Du Juan, Fei Fei Sun, Sui He, Xiao Wen Ju, and Ming X. Du Juan, incidentally, won that Silk Road modeling contest in a previous year.
Liu has represented Estée Lauder along with her chums Jablonski and Smalls.
Liu currently also has over 60k followers on Twitter - probably many more by the time you read this.
A lot of the personal photos that Liu posts on her accounts are very artistic. She has a good eye as a photographer.
The New York Times called Liu a supermodel in 2012. Now, the New York Times alone doesn't exactly decide such things, but it is very close to the fashion scene and makes or breaks models' careers (Jaime King owes a lot to it, for instance). So, what the New York Times says about a specific model is worth mentioning. In this case, the NY Times seems to have been spot on.
OK! China soon followed the New York Times' lead. It crowned Wen as the first Asian supermodel in its April 2013 issue.
Liu's campaigns have included Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta, Hugo Boss, Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, H&M, Marni, Lane Crawford, Bergdorf Goodman, Diesel, Gap, and Vivienne Tam.
Liu is a hard worker. She routinely sets records for the most shows walked at fashion shows.
All in all, Liu Wenn is blazing a trail for Asian supermodels. Still, at her peak, Liu will be leading the way for years to come.
I feel the most beautiful when I’m the most relaxed—for example, after a productive day of work or during a comfortable, rested afternoon. But I also feel great when I reunite with friends after a long time. When my inner mood is positive, I also feel great on the outside.
Angela Lindvall (January 14, 1979) is familiar to Victoria's Secret fans because she has appeared in many of its commercials, such as the Victoria's Secret Holiday Commercial in 2004.
Well, that is, besides walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows in 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, of course.
Angela also has made quite a name for herself outside the Victoria's Secret universe, both in the traditional film/tv outlets for supermodels, and in the world of fashion.
Let's learn a little more about Angela Lindvall.
It's easy to assume, just from glancing at her name, that Angela Lindvall is from some Scandinavian country and barely speaks a few words of English. "Lindvall" is Swedish, and every other person in Stockholm either is named that or knows someone named Lindvall. In fact, Angela is an Oklahoma girl, born in Midwest City, but grew up in Lee's Summit, Missouri (her family still liver there).
Angela's dad is a pharmacist and her mother is a medical technologist/massage therapist. Lindvall got into modelling when she had a growth spurt in her early teen years and her friends suggested it.
Tagging along with her sister, who really wanted to become a model, Angela got into the business and was spotted at a Kansas city fashion show when she was only 14. Angela took a few years to "be a kid," then signed a contract with IMG.
Angela has been on a ton of covers in countries all around the world. These include, just as a sampling from the States and UK:
UK: 'i-D' - November 1996; 'Dazed and Confused' - November 1998; 'Vogue' - September 1998, June 1999 & June 2000; 'Nova' - September 2000; 'i-D' - October 2000; 'Vogue' - January 2001; 'Vogue' - November 2004; 'i-D' - October 2006; 'Vogue' - June 2010
US: 'W' - October & December 1997; 'Elle' - August 1998; 'Vogue' - February 1998; 'W' - November 1998; 'Elle' - March 2000; 'i-D' - October 2000; 'Vogue' - November 2000; 'Nylon' - September 2001; 'Elle' - November 2001; 'Muse' - June 2010; 'Foam' - July 2012; 'Corduroy' - Winter 2012
In short, Angela has covers on all the top mags, including ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Numero, Vogue, I-D and W.
Over the past few years, Angela has had her share of covers:

Lindvall says that Paris is "bit more relaxed" than Milan, "calmer and more organized." The hours in Milan are crazy, it is more business-like in Paris.
Angela has some prestigious shoots in her past besides Victoria's Secret.
Angela was in the 2003 and 2004 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues. She also appeared in the 1999 and 2001 Pirelli Calendars.
Naturally, only the top, top girls get those slots. Angela gets shot by people like Patrick Demarchelier as a matter of routine.
Lindvall has branched out into acting, like many other top models of her caliber. She was in "CQ" (2001), "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" (2005) and "Somewhere" (2010), for instance.
Another big appearance for Angela was the Bill Murray/Charlie Sheen film, "A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III" (ah, the stories she must have from that set...).
Angela television appearances include "Hawaii Five-0" (yes, the new one of course!). Angela hosted a season of "Project Runway: All Stars on Lifetime." She also was in a short, "Fergie: M.I.L.F. $" (2016).
Angela also has branched out into jewelry design and worked on the Jijau collection for John Hardy. She has her own line with them, "Angela by John Hardy."
Angela's designs reflect her interests in ancient and exotic cultures. She donates some of the profits to charity, such as Forest Ethics (Angela is very green in more ways than one).
Angela has survived tragedy. Her older sister Audrey Lindvall - the one who really wanted to be a model? - also became an IMG model. What a successful family! Unfortunately, Audrey passed away in 2006 in a horrible road accident while visiting her family in Missouri.
Whilst on vacation in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, Angela met William Edwards, a South African diver. They married in 2002, when she gave birth to their first son. Angela had a second son in 2005. The two divorced in 2006.
Angela says that her Instagram is "the center of my universe." You can catch her active Instagram account here.
Angela is very involved with environmental causes:
Dustin Yellin, my boyfriend at the time, and I came up with this idea to create a magazine that would explore pop culture and talk about real issues that were going on in the world. Through that, I saw how powerful media was in the fashion industry and how quickly trends were created. The magazine eventually evolved to a nonprofit organization that was called the Collage Foundation. We also started the Rockland Farm Alliance which is still a CSA up in Rockland county, 30 minutes outside of New York City.
